Talent depth and recruiting cadence
600,000 BPO workers, 12,000 VA-grade bilingual across five cities.
Colombia is the second-largest BPO labor market in Latin America after Brazil. Roughly 600,000 Colombians work in the sector across Bogota, Medellin, Barranquilla, Cali, and Bucaramanga. About 2 percent of that pool, roughly 12,000 people, carry VA-grade bilingual experience strong enough to run executive support, sales VA, customer support VA, or administrative VA roles in both English and Spanish.
CFG runs weekly cohorts out of Bogota and Medellin. The Colombia bilingual VA screening adds a Spanish-language fluency check on top of the base CFG VA screening: written Spanish at B2 or C1 level, neutral-accent voice screening, and a structured behavioral interview conducted in both languages. Bilingual VAs route preferentially to engagements serving US Hispanic markets, LatAm B2B prospects, or Spain-based clients. The lower wage band reflects the deeper bench, not lower quality.
