Bilingual Call Center Jobs From Home in Colombia

English and Spanish agent seats on US campaigns, recruited remotely across Colombia instead of for one building.

By

Quick answer

Call Force Global contracts home-based agents in Colombia for bilingual English and Spanish US campaigns, along with Spanish-language work. Colombia stays on UTC-5 all year, matching US Eastern in winter and US Central in summer. Pay is hourly under a direct contract with Call Force Global. Apply online and state your real level in each language.

Looking for remote work?

Colombia is the bilingual country among the six where Call Force Global contracts agents. The application asks for both languages, so have your levels ready.

Who we hire in Colombia

Fluent bilingual agents who can carry a US call in English and in Spanish, recruited remotely across Colombia's main cities.

Colombia is the bilingual part of the Call Force Global footprint; the Caribbean desks work in English. Recruiting is remote, across Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla and Cali, with no central building, as the Colombia operations page explains.

You are applying into a large market. Colombia's outsourcing sector passed 705,000 jobs by the end of 2021, according to MARO and Colombia Productiva figures published by Invest in Colombia. Call Force Global is a small company within that. It takes applications continuously, and each placement comes when a running campaign needs your profile.

Your English and your Spanish

The application asks for every language you can work in professionally, each with a fluency level. Describe your real level in each rather than rounding up, because the voice clip settles it either way, and an overstated level is caught in the first minute.

What gets assessed is whether a US listener can follow you without effort on a compressed phone line. That is a question of clarity and pace. Sounding American is not the test, and the Academy scorecard forbids deducting a single point for accent. The voice introduction is how the team assesses your spoken English, so record it in English even if Spanish is your stronger language.

Bilingual desks

Medicare programs are the largest single use of bilingual Colombian seats that Call Force Global runs. On those you qualify callers in English or Spanish and warm-transfer them to the client's licensed agents. You do not recommend or enroll a plan, and you do not need a licence.

Beyond Medicare, Colombian agents work bilingual customer support, outbound sales and SDR prospecting, healthcare member services, virtual assistant seats and back-office work. Some programs run as a dedicated Spanish desk where every agent handles both languages on the same seat. Every one of them is a non-licensed fronter role: you qualify, schedule, support and warm-transfer.

Hours on Colombia time

Colombia is on UTC-5 and has not used daylight saving since 1993. You match US Eastern from November to March and US Central from March to November.

The IANA time zone database records Colombia's last clock change in February 1993. US clocks move on the second Sunday of March and the first Sunday of November, so the same campaign lands on your day differently by season:

Example campaign hours on the clock in Colombia
If the campaign runsIn Colombia, mid-March to early NovemberIn Colombia, early November to mid-March
9am to 5pm Eastern8am to 4pm9am to 5pm
9am to 5pm Central9am to 5pm10am to 6pm
9am to 5pm Pacific11am to 7pmNoon to 8pm

Colombia (COT/GMT-5) has its own entry in the application's time zone list, so pick that one. The preferred shift question is asked in Eastern time; the first row above is the conversion you will use most.

Home office

All of the work is done from home, and the setup is checked before you join a client program. The application wants your connection type and measured download speed, whether you have a backup connection, the computer you use, a USB or noise-canceling headset, a quiet place to work and some form of backup power. A bilingual seat is still a voice seat, so the quiet room matters as much as the language.

Pay and payment

Pay is hourly, and you are contracted directly by Call Force Global on independent contractor terms, with no staffing intermediary in between. What a given seat pays varies by campaign and market, and it is stated in writing in the offer for that role. The same offer sets out scheduled hours, payment method and start conditions. Compare the rate with the guaranteed weekly hours before you accept.

Call Force Global never charges candidates for training, equipment, a background check or a placement. A request for money in its name is a scam, and genuine messages come from a callforce.global address.

Certification

Placement on a client campaign follows the CFG Academy. Ten modules over one weekend, then a written exam and a recorded roleplay. Score 85 or better out of 100 and you are a Call Force Global Certified Agent. The credential covers professional call handling; anything a campaign needs on top, such as HIPAA training for healthcare work, is campaign specific and delivered separately.

How to apply from Colombia

Use the application, choose Colombia (COT/GMT-5) as your time zone and add both languages with honest levels. Then record or upload the 30 to 60 second voice introduction in English. If you are weighing other Latin American options, our remote customer service jobs in Latin America guide covers the wider field.

The agent role description sets out every requirement and the contract terms on a single page.

Questions agents in Colombia ask

How good does my English need to be for a bilingual call center job in Colombia?
Good enough that a US caller can follow you without effort on a phone line. The voice introduction on the application is how the team assesses spoken English. Accent is not marked down; clarity and pace are what count.
Are there Spanish-language seats as well as English ones?
Yes. Colombian desks run Spanish and blended English and Spanish programs, and some are dedicated Spanish desks where each agent handles both languages on the same seat.
Do I need a licence to work on a Medicare desk from Colombia?
No. Agents qualify callers and warm-transfer them to the client's licensed agents. Recommending or enrolling a plan stays with licensed staff.
Do I have to live in Bogotá or Medellín?
No single office exists to commute to. Call Force Global recruits remotely across Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla and Cali, and the work is done from home.
